Oval Tassel Nubi Box

Handcrafted in Seoul

A nubi (Korean quilted) box created in collaboration with master quilter Jang Ok-soon.

Every step is completed entirely by hand, and the piece is available exclusively at Villa Pavi.

Layer upon layer of concentric quilted lines flow softly across the surface, while a tassel falling from the knot atop the lid gracefully anchors the piece. 

Set against an ivory ground, the noemun (雷紋, meander motif) is rendered in subtle relief — a contemporary reinterpretation of the refinement of traditional Korean patterns.
