Handcrafted in Jeju, Korea

A bookmark made based on seashells collected from Seobinbaeksa beach in Jeju, a shore where rhodoliths form. 

The shell’s form is rendered in brass and finished with a strap made by rolling and stitching thin satin silk fabric.

Continuous stitch detailing added to the fine texture of the silk brings out a soft flow and a three-dimensional grain.

Every piece is handcrafted in Jeju, and each product has slight differences in form and color.
